The African National Congress, (ANC) has recently celebrated its 112th anniversary with a grand event, attended by party members and supporters from across the country.

Speaking to SABC, President Cyril Ramaphosa emphasized the significance of the occasion and highlighted the party’s enduring strength and unity.

President Ramaphosa has expressed his delight at reaching such a momentous milestone. “This is a very special day. We celebrate today 112 years. There are not many parties that I know that have reached this age.” He said.

Asserting the ANC’s vitality, the President emphasized that the party is still alive and kicking.
“We’re becoming more united, more cohesive, and looking forward to Saturday where we will have thousands filling up the stadium to celebrate.” President Ramaposa added.

He also touched on the upcoming elections, acknowledging the array of political parties vying for power.
“I’ve been told that there are so many parties that have registered. Almost 300 parties registered, and all of them want to become the governing party of South Africa.

“We all know the truth as we have seen over thirty years.” He remarked.
