In a recent development, the KwaZulu-Natal police have confirmed the arrest of a 51-year-old man, who has been charged with drunk, reckless, and negligent driving.

The arrest came after the man’s vehicle collided with the official armored state vehicle of former President Jacob Zuma.

 

The former President was safely transported to his residence.
Following the collision, law enforcement authorities promptly apprehended the 51-year-old man involved in the incident.

He is now expected to appear before the Eshowe Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, where charges of drunk, reckless, and negligent driving will be formally presented.

Both victims emerged uninjured from the accident.
